Carrot Cake Sandwich?!

Good morning sweet people! How are you on this fine Thursday morning? I have someone who wants to say hi!

Django! He's my little monkey man. He was jealous that Kona's been getting more attention on the blog, so here he is! It's hard to snap pictures of this squirmy little guy. Kona is better at posing than he is. Oh well, he'll learn!

Breakfast was pretty out of control this morning. I stumbled across a recipe for a Carrot Cake Sandwich on  this lovely blog: Healthy Exposures

Carrot Cake Sandwich! I was too intrigued to not make it.

I took an Udi's gluten-free cinnamon raisin bagel and toasted it. Then I spread some almond butter on each side followed by sliced banana, shredded carrots, cinnamon and a tiny drizzle of maple syrup!

Did it actually taste like carrot cake? Not really. But was it awesome? Definitely! And super filling. And soul nourishing. :-)

Woody had it goin' on with his breakfast this morning too! He made Egg in a Basket (x 2) with greens and salsa on top. Check it out.

Nice, huh? He wanted me to make sure to mention that he fried those eggs and toast in copious amounts of butter ;-)

I'm already thinking about what I want to make for lunch today. But first, I have a training session with Gorden. Next time you see me, I'll be stronger! And sore. But definitely more bad ass!

Have a beautiful day and I'll see you later!
